Dingy, unkempt little place.
We stumbled across Kahtnu when Googling places to stay in Alaska, and it was the best decision we made during our 2 week trip! The cabin is perfect for couples: amazing views of the river, a quiet front porch to watch eagles soaring through the canyon, and tasteful touches from hosts Lorraine and Mike (breakfast parfaits, fresh ground coffee, and hard boiled eggs waiting in the fridge to name a few!). The friendly huskies were an added touch for dog lovers like us. Highly recommend!
Such an incredible place to stay!! The location is perfect, views are amazing, the suite is clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful! We also rented bikes one afternoon from their bike rental shop and had an absolute blast! We can’t say enough great things about Kahtnu Spirit Lodging.
