I had a problem with my # 16 wisdom tooth. My regular denist didn't want to pull it out because of the long roots, and referred me to Dr. Kahn. Because of my age,I was very apprehensive but Dr. Kahn put me at ease. The whole procedure took only 30 minutes. There was absolutely no pain, and the recovery went perfectly. As my primary dentist had recommended him, so would I. The office staff and his assistant were both very pleasant. The cost was much less than the up front quote given to me on my first phone call.

I had a broken tooth and was seen by Dr. Kahn that morning. His secretary was very pleasant and his assistant was extremly gental when she took an xray. He explained what needed to be done then gave me lots of novacaine and waited for it to get very numb before he pulled my broken tooth. It came out in a jiffy! I was very happy it was all over and I was pain free! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kahn :)

I’d highly recommend Dr. Marc Kahn if you need to have a tooth extraction like an impacted wisdom tooth. I had a severely impacted one which he removed recently. My case is unusual since I had the other side done many years back. So I have the perspective of being able to compare two oral surgeons. The first extraction in CT years ago was the most painful event of my life before and since. Also the pain continued at a high level for weeks after the extraction. My son had his wisdom teeth removed. They did it on short notice while he was home from school. Very professional, he thought it was painless and his recovery was just as suggested. Very good overall experience.

I was a new patient of Dr. Kahn's because I got reffered to him by my current dentist to get my wisdom teeth out. I wasn't properly sedated and felt a good part of the procedure. During the procedure I tried to get his attention about this by trying to talk. Both times he told me not to talk instead of listening to me. When the procedure was over I tried to talk to Dr. Kahn about this, but he told me all I felt was pressure. I have had teeth pulled before and I know what that pressure feels like. Have had success in the past, but this was a very poor overall experience. I was not properly sedated and the tooth was cracked by him. I ended up in the ER with an infected tooth as well in A fib which is not normal sinus rhythm. Others including myself have had good success here, but this wasn't a good experiences

I was scared to death going in for my wisdom teeth. Dr. Kahn's office made me feel comfortable, gave me proper anaesthetic (which has been a problem in the past), and the followup was simple and painless. I was off the painkillers in a day and a half. I wish I had done it earlier.
