I performed my own research on jewelry appraisal firms before I decided on Kahle Appraisals in Leawood, KS. Tracey Kahle has an excellent history in this type of business as well as having a number of outstanding recommendations. I found her to be very professional, and I was very pleased with her work. If you need jewelry appraised for insurance purposes, I highly recommend Tracey at Kahle Appraisals LLC. Tracey is knowledgeable, trustworthy and very professional. She is kind and friendly and her pricing is reasonable. She emailed a detailed report including photos to my inbox and I was able to immediately forward it on to our insurance company. I'm devastated. I brought in my late wife's jewelry to Tracey for what I believed was a thoughtful, professional concierge service--someone who could help distinguish between fine and costume jewelry after her passing. Among the most meaningful and valuable pieces was our wedding ring. It was in the bag when I handed it over. We even discussed it during the examination.
