Floors were not stable when we first moved in. After they fixed it my kids stepped on the nails. Had to fix again. Bedroom doors are not on properly, doors do not close. Door handles falling off. Cracks in the walls. Bad paint quality, bad paint job. Garage was not finished. Foundation cracks. Showers were not sealed properly and water got behind the shower onto the walls and now we have mold and mildew. Will have to take the entire shower apart to fix it. Low price relatively, but also low quality. We had a hole in the roof that caused damage to one room in the first six months. So far the repairs are subpar. One shower insert was also cracked during install but was noticed on walkthroughs because it was in a crack. Not warranty covered of course. Flat paint throughout that is a mess after move in and anything touching walls. Door knobs falling off on day one after move in. Blinds cheap and falling apart. Homes built on a cookie cutter setup. Multiple Neighbors have complained about their current state of their homes, and they have a shady way of dealing with warranties. Right now peoples cements are breaking off their homes, stucco is chipping away, interior fixtures are unlevel, and cement is failing everywhere. I have wonderful neighbors, but the homes are poorly built. I would look outside of any D.R. Horton properties. They have a 1.25 rating out of 5 from the BBB.
