I recently attended the Intro to Mountaineering course. Zak was an awesome instructor who was able to keep the entire class entertained while showing us the beauty and teaching us how to avoid the dangers with mountaineering. His extensive knowledge (and gear supply) was on full display. I recommend this class to anyway looking to get into mountaineering.
Thank you so much for offering the Into to Mountaineering class! The course material was exactly what I had hoped it would be. And Zak Krenzer, the instructor, presented it in a very accessible manner with personal anecdotes and just the right amount of humor.
My partner Ross Eckert and I took the Intro to Mountaineering Course on Mt. Shuksan in early September. Archer and Amber were such amazing instructors as well as generally awesome people. The weather was just a little less than ideal (pretty much constantly wet and cloudy) but their attitude and advice made the experience even that much more meaningful. Took the Intro to Mountaineering at Mt Baker with Kaf Adventures with my family last weekend and absolutely loved every single moment of it. We all had a blast. The guides were very competent, highly professional and did a fantastic job teaching us the technical skills we needed to do the climb. I highly recommend Kaf Adventures!
I recommend Kaf for anyone who is aching for a healthy dose of adventure in their lives. Our guide Christian was so knowledgeable and supportive, we immediately felt confident that we were in good hands. The location we climbed at was perfect. There were so many routes of varying difficulty all in close proximity to each other and the landscape was stunning.
