We lived on the West side for 40 years. Our medical needs were taken care of by Virginia Mason (VM). We have recently moved to the Tri-cities. At VM when I went for my labs, without appointment, it took about 20 minutes. At my annual physical I would strip and my GP would check my whole body from head to foot and also check my eyes, nose, ears, throat, prostate and heart. I would not recommend the services of this organization. It is owned by Providence and has since gone down hill, in its service as well as patient care.. I think they are not running a health care facility for the sick but rather are more concerned with how much money they can generate… so incredibly disappointed with this medical system…. And with the whole state of Washington… it sucks

Spoke to a girl from billing today about my financial assistance application. She was very rude and judgemental and to be honest she didn't even know what she was calling for. I applied for financial assistance on a bill I received from 2018 that I thought was taken care of but apparently they made a mistake and it was never taken care of, so I had reapplied for financial assistance on that specific bill. Like so many others, the care I received in Feb.2016, starting in the ER was mistake after mistake. The ED. dept is NOT run by Kadlec. Incorrect information entered on my medical records, overdose of pain medication which resulted in me having to stay two days. I was told I would be on oxygen 24/7 indefinitely and this was a misdiagnosis. Can't say much more as this is not first time ED. made serious mistakes in my care. Let me that first by saying Kadlec used to be the best hospital in the Tri-Cities but with in the last few years has gone down hill fast. My husband was in a hit and run back in April and was having back pain along with terrible anxiety, so we went into Kadlec. The first doctor we saw was very nice, he asked my husband a few routine questions and prescribed some pain pills for his back. For many years Kadlec has been my family's hospital of choice hands down. Not only would we receive exceptional care, but they seemed to have a billing department that understood that in addition to their bill we all have lives and bills. However, since Kadlec has started their expansion, they have become nothing but greedy. Patient bills must be on payment plans to be paid in full in 6 months or they won't work with you.
