About as pissed with a provider as I can be! As they say, a doctor is only as a good as his staff. After driving 3 hours for her apt, my 82 year old mother was 10 minutes late for her appointment FOR THE FIRST TIME and they turned her away. Mind you, my mother has followed him from Amarillo to Pampa (while living in Clovis, NM) because she likes him and trusts his direction. Dr Carthel fixed me up after my heart attack, and they did it all the same day. His N.P. are top notch too.
The worst bed side manner ever, told me I needed open heart surgery..and he has a friend in Dallas who can do it!! in disbelief and tears I wipe my nose and clear my throat to bring myself to ask a question..he says one second and answers his phone,his wife asking if he's cooking tonight and he says yes and leavves the rooom!! We'll we all know what that means! We'll I didnt!! Only my 2nd time seeing a cardiologist..new to the worst day of my life from now on....and never gets better with this Doctor!! For 3 years!! Seeing Dr.Kade have such a high review scares me. The reason why is because of my last appointment with him. He never looked at my file and started ordering uncessary orders, (stuff I had just done a week before seeing him), couldn't remember all the structures of the heart and was recommending procedures I do not believe are nesscary considering he never looked at my file. Not to mention the center he works for sucks. I got there at 8am and wasn't seen until noon.
