I moved to Columbia about 10 months ago and having left a beautiful Sangha in California, I couldn't imagine I could find a decent replacement in South Carolina. But I realized it was time to get back to a regular practice of Buddhist teachings. So I decided to check out the Kadampa Meditation Center in Columbia. I love everything about it! I was fortunate to happen upon this place at the exact right moment in my life. I can honestly say that this meditation center has changed me in the most profound ways. I have learned the path to a truly peaceful mind and thereby real happiness. Everyone is welcome and there are many different classes available as well as half day and full day workshops on Saturdays. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Definitely one of my favorite place to go to! KMC SC is a great place to increase your peace of mind, learn about meditation and how to live a happy life. Also a great place to meet spiritual people who over the year have become my best friends :)
