Going in I had a solid 6 months worth or hair growth for a 18 year old guy so quite a lot of hair, I asked for a trim on the sides and showed the exact amount I wanted off, I now have buzz cut on the side of my head and less than an inch on the top, they do not care what you want and will do what they feel will look good, I am embarrassed to even show my hair in public and I am speaking for several other friends/family that had the same experiences.
