Came here a few years ago on new years. Went for a treat and got the 150 dollar prefixed menu, expecting a great time. Instead I got 6 pieces of fish (not six rolls, six PIECES), one of which I was allergic to which was not even switched out. They said someone else at the table would have to eat it or it would be wasted. This is greed and swindling in a restaurant. Sushi was ok and so was the service. Menu was very limited, only about 10 rolls to choose from which was a surprise for me being a restaurant with sushi in the title. Very pricey also for what I considered ok sushi. I basically got a regular spicy tuna roll for $14 and a spicy tuna roll with tuna on top for $25. Dessert was pretty good.
Chef Henry is a genius of both traditional Japanese and he mixes in a slight fusion to each creation. Everything is unique to him and Kabooki. I've been coming here since it was the size of a large closet and there is a reason it's half the shopping center now, and it stays full. Elegant, fresh, opulent. Orlando's Best, period!!
Update:: Eaten here several times and enjoyed it. Planned to do a big order for lunch tomorrow but just came across their “D” rating health inspection. Won’t return until the report is an A…. Had fantastic sushi here. Great for gluten free options. Especially loved the Hawaiian roll
