We were recently on vacation in Hawaii, spending the afternoon at Volcanoes National Park when my son developed an acute case of conjunctivitis and simultaneously had been having ear pain from swimmer's ear. We found Ka'u Hospital on the map, as the closest to Volcanoes NP and on the route back to our hotel, which was 2 hours away. As soon as we entered, we were in excellent hands. Aloha, Got a puncture wound from a Rusty mail. Needed a Tetanus Shot. Kau Hospital ER, is the closest, and turned out to be the Best place to go. Kind Staff, Holly, you were so helpful, she cleaned my wound, then gave me what I would need to keep it clean. Got my Shot. No Wait, Friendly & Efficient Staff. A very ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five star Positive Experience. Mahalo to all. 🥰❤️👍

Worst experience ever. They rush you out instead of looking into actually finding out what's wrong with you. My mother died an hour after they released her. And we still don't know how she actually died. We will never go there again. 😢 😡

Dr Calvert and nurses Ashley and April were all amazing. Professional, great sense of humor, efficient… I could ask for a better experience in today’s tricky medical landscape. Big thank yous and much Aloha to the team at Kau hospital.
