I have been a customer since 2010- the RL100. Yes, it was very very expensive for me at the time BUT within the first 30 days or so I got a ticket ( i didnt pay attention how to use it properly ) & k40 paid for it and ever since then nearly 15 years ago I have never gotten another ticket and it HAS saved me & served me VERY well ! I have had every brand out there before the K-40, once the K-40 was available in the portable model to stick on windshield I bought one to try it out between my 3 vehicles. It has worked so well I have now bought a total of 3 units one for every vehicle. I recommend to anyone looking, this system supersedes any competition and no false signals from other cars blind spot monitor. I used to be a die hard K40 fan, that is until the mount holding the radar melted and fell apart, which resulted in my radar falling down onto the dash. Mind you, this is a mount, not radar detector. I called K40 the same day, sent them numerous pictures, and Patrick "acted" like he was my best friend and sympathetic, but then quickly said that they could ship me one for $22.95.
