Our group planned the whole day around Glo Karting which this locations website specifically states they have and when we arrived the employee said they havent had it for years. False advertising and a huge let down as we were expecting it.
Drove in from Lake Charles to K1 in New Orleans area. My children were nervous and anxious at the same time Uncle Chris who is an employee there took the time to make sure they warmed up to the track. Then it was go time only thing I seen was brake lights from the side line and smiles from ear to ear. Jordan had our food hot and ready once we finished racing. We enjoyed our time and such an experience. Thanks Uncle Chris from the Harmon Family.
I visited a few nights ago, and unfortunately the experience ruined my karting experience. I had no issues with the staff outside. My only concern was with two employees inside the track. There was a misunderstanding—I said it was my first time karting at this location, not my first time driving a kart. He gave me the safety manual and told me to read it, which I did. While racing is enjoyable, the cost can be quite high. On this occasion, my children were given $10 on playing cards, but they did not use them for games and we subsequently left. Two weeks later, we returned for a second race and to play some games. One of the cards functioned correctly, but the other did not. When my wife approached the counter to explain the situation with the cards, the staff seemed to imply that it was our responsibility rather than theirs.
