I recently visited K1 Speed in Carlsbad and had mixed experiences during my time there. The go-kart track staff seemed attentive and focused on safety. They appeared to actively watch the races and monitor drivers, which made the racing experience feel well-supervised and secure. First time here and never again. When we were purchasing we asked how many laps we were paying for and they said 12. They put 7 or 8 people in one race and based off the fastest. Couldn’t even do a lap without getting bumped into. The races before us were having 4 people max and doing 15 laps while in our race people averaged only 9 laps. Please be consistent.
