Will definitely miss K&W. Was a part of our city for I’m guessing 40 years. I often would call it “Wilmingtons Dining Room” You never knew who you would run into. Everyone from Celebrities to our local town folk have eaten there over the decades. Many meals with family members who are no longer with us, especially my dad who was a fan and might haunt the place. Good honest comfort food and never had a bad meal there. This place used to be great but now they have a sanitation rating of 83.5 as of December 11,which says a lot about how things are now. We noticed in the food line getting ready to pay that there was a spill on the floor and when someone address it to the staff, they said they “ couldn’t deal with it right now”. No way!!! For a place that services mostly senior citizens anyone could easily slip and fall. K&W needs to do better.
