I would leave ZERO stars if possible! I moved my mother away from this home in June, and since that time she has gained 6 pounds and her mood and demeanor is 100% better. This place was supposed to specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia care, but they had my mother on a completely liquid diet, because they refused to feed her!! She was losing so much weight that we had to put her on hospice care. She was having severe bowel problems from the liquid diet, and the overuse of vitamins that the owner insisted she take. One of the best family set up assisted living facilities in Tempe. The owner is a very knowledgeable and honest person. The care that they offer is exceptional! Highly recommend!

Living in one of K and R’s Assisted Living places is a joy especially if you have a good attitude. The house is a home where you can feel free to do as you would in your own home. With only 5 residents the caretaker is close by to assist in anything that you need or want. The owner does everything in her power to make her residents comfortable even to buying you a new blouse or shirt or new shoes when she finds something that might brighten your day. ***** STAY AWAY ***** Every time I would visit there would be new employees. They would wash all of the cloths together. My mom never had any of her cloths on it always belonged to someone else. We were told that she would cover expenses like depends, cloths etc... That wasnt the case once we moved her in. The owner is very bossy. Krystyna takes such good care of her residents, that people come here with cancer having a year to live while they make it another 7 years! She makes home made juice for them, make sure they’re well taken care off, often goes out of her way to accommodate, and treats everyone as if they were her own family. I highly recommend this assisted living!
