Could not speak more highly of the owner and staff. We were passing through with car problems and they went out of their way to help us and quickly so we could keep moving. Highly recommended.
We called K & M Lightning Ridge Auto at about 8:30 in the morning while we were still a few hours away from town. They told us they could fit us in at 2:00 pm, which was greatly appreciated. As it turned out, there was plenty to see and do in Lightning Ridge, so the timing worked perfectly for us. We had a issue with our Dmax recently while we were travelling from Queensland with our van and the boys here went above and beyond to get us back on the road and had the problem sorted in an hour or so. Can't recommend them highly enough, absolutely extremely happy..thanks guys 👌👌
April 2026: We were 50 mins out from Lightning Ridge and began to develop oil, engine concerns 😟. I rang K&M to say we would be coming over. What a lovely receptionist. We bought a few oil containers locally in the outback and filled up the car, drove at 90km and stayed silent praying 🙏. We stopped twice to check and refill. We got there and everyone was so helpful.
