This broker is playing games does not pay detention when they answer by accident its always still getting approved they track they get notified they said they will pay 6 hours bla bla all crickets now going on 4th week. Next step filing on their bond over couple hundred bucks and reporting to fmcsa for breach of contract
This company brought a load to our warehouse with no delivery appointment. They were on a work in status. Their dispatch office called our phone non stop, yelling and berating our office trying to get unloaded sooner. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Next time, get an actual appointment before showing up and don't yell and harass the people you're trying to get help from.
BE WARNED WORKING WITH K&L, specifically with Mayte, Alvarado, Nate or Julio. Driver arrived on time, spent 9+ hour at receiver. K&L went ghost after load was delivered, ignored every call and email about detention. Would be very careful working with a shady brokerage like this one.
Ran a load for these guys on 9/8/25, now and they owe us detention at shipper. They have yet to send an updated rate con. or answer our emails. We upheld our end, were at shipper at 6am as requested, delivered the load safely, direct and on time. Communicated from start to finish. As soon as we requested detention, they essentially stopped responding. Just another typical shady brokerage. Unfortunate.
I this industry we don't always get things done or right. But this company did take the time to correct the issues I had and I'm satisfied with the outcome.
