I saw new construction homes that are exactly what I'm looking for.
I bought a home from DR HORTON at Homestead in Dixon, California. If you are thinking about doing the same, take it from me and hundreds of others... Don't! The company doesn't stand by its construction, and follow up by their customer service is antagonistic. The Sunrun Solar Energy Systems Solar panels they install on the roof are junk, and you will have outrageous PG&E bills! Find another builder. I hear Richmond American is better.
Nice 55 plus gated community. Nice floor plans except the master suites don’t have bathtubs. Seems strange. They are not even an option.
Before purchasing we were assured that family and grandchildren could use the pool as long as we were with them. NO RESTRICTIONS unless they were holding an event. Once we moved in they have very restricted hours for children under 18. On many days there is next to no one using the amenities yet they refuse to lift the restricted hours. Make sure you see the CCR’s- Bylaws, and clubhouse rules before you purchase. We asked several times and were told you had to be a homeowner to receive them 🫤
