I would never buy or recommend KHov to anyone. From signing the contract to 3 years in the home. It took 6 months longer to build than was in the contract. The craftsmanship was horrendous. It took 3 years and 10s of thousands of dollars fixing the mistakes that were made during building. Then they screwed over the community by promising 206 homes and 3 years later there is plans for more than 600, including over 200 rental homes owned by a corporation. Still having issues with KHOV. I really wish we hadnt spent half a million dollars here. Paint One does all the drywall and it is AWFUL. Endless issues. They don’t want to fix any defect that isn’t immediately visible in natural lighting, but our downstairs ceilings are absolutely embarrassing on a dimly lit day or anytime in the evening. Check out these photos. Sure they’ll do a nail pop service but they won’t sand it afterwards. Just leave big lumps everywhere and nails sticking out. They promised a lot, don’t come fix things. It’s been a year and we are still waiting on a promised minor repair. Garage drywall is falling apart due to excessive amounts of drywall paste being applied to an area that fell apart when we attempted to paint the garage as everyone does, and we’ve heard every excuse from we must have soaked it ourselves (we submitted photos proving its not wet, and who would do that?) to the garage isn’t covered (verified by warranty and realtor that materials and workmanship are) because it’s n... read more
