They fabricate everything they need for repairs. Hand forged nails, mixed from scratch paint, rough sawn and milled balsa wood for structural deck supports, band aid brand gusset plates. In fact I have never seen them fix something with a store bought item. They even paint by hand without brushes. Unique finished product for sure.

They were great until they built that airplane out of plywood and flew off into the sunset, never to return. Super handy, but flighty.
