I love this place so much, they take such good care of my dad who has dementia. They are so patient with him and so attentive to his medical needs. They make him great food, and this place has a real family atmosphere. They have also really been a great advocate for my dad's care when he was in the hospital with more acute medical care. Jean and Shelly care very deeply about their residents and it shows.
K&R's Assistant Living is definitely a Godsend!! Ms. Jean and Ms. Shelly take excellent care of my uncle who has dementia. They are patient, caring and treat us like family. They stay on top of every little detail. I sleep well knowing he is in good hands. I would recommend K & R to anyone looking for quality care.
I first met Jean when I was in need of help taking care of my mother in my home. From the first time I met her, I knew she was a special person. We had other caregivers, but no one like Jean. She later opened K&R assisted living and my mother’s need were increasing. I didn’t want to lose the great care my Mom needed plus I really needed more help as well. Professional, family oriented setting, clean, and great meals to say the least! I was starting to lose faith in assisted living facilities for my mother until I came across this one. As soon as I walked in the place felt like a home and not a facility. The residents were happy and smiling and the food smelled great. Once met with the owner that sealed the deal.
