My dog Tex has been going there since he was a few months old and has always loved going there! He’s 12 years old now and still loves going there!!! Jon is awesome and really loves dogs!!!
We were in Wimberly for a funeral, and we brought our old girl (13 years old) with us for the trip. She was well cared for and happy for the 2 hours she was there, and John was accommodating to our situation.
My pup loved this place. I was a little nervous because he hasn't always liked returning to doggie daycare but as soon as we pulled into John's place for day 2, our boxer practically dragged us to the entrance. We will bring our pup here every time we are in the Wimberly area. Thanks so much, k-9 retreat!
John was AMAZING! We ended up in a pickle with our dog at Blue Hole. It wasnt clear that no dogs were allowed so we drove 3.5 hours for a fun day and ended up in a pinch. He took our little pup trusting our word about her updated vaccines and took her for us she we could play. He was so kind and empathetic and trustworthy. We are so grateful for him!
This place is great! We have been taking our dog here for doggy day care and he loves it. He yelps and gets so excited every time we make the turn into the property. Jon is great to work with - very easy going and professional. Very good place to take your pup! 👍🏼
