I booked one of their rentals in STL for a bachelorette party for 3 nights. We had to vacate after the first night due to BED BUGS. One of the rooms had bug traps in the window seal and under the bed, so I’m assuming they knew about it. I came from out of town, so it was almost impossible finding a new rental on Air bnb at the last minute. They didn’t help with finding a new place either. Our experience with this host was incredibly disappointing. At 3:00 a.m., our unit flooded, creating a stressful and disruptive situation that was completely outside of our control. While emergencies can happen, how a host responds is what matters most—and this is where they fell far short. The property manager assured us they would “make this right,” but that never happened.
