I saw her as part of couples counseling. We repeatedly asked her to pivot her style of repeating back to us how we just said we felt to an approach where she held us accountable and she just could not pivot. She also became my abuser’s flying monkey when she tried to get me to compromise on the financial abuse I was experiencing instead of calling him out on that.
