I wish there were an option for zero stars, because Dr. Parapurath does not deserve one. It had been a while since I had been to a doctor since my previous physician retired, and while I fully acknowledge that was on me, her response was completely unprofessional. Rather than focusing on my care, she repeatedly criticized me for not coming in sooner. I had my first appointment with this provider after being referred for evaluation of hormone concerns,. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. During the visit, I felt rushed, interrogated, was repeatedly interrupted and was not given the opportunity to fully explain my concerns or medical history without judgement.The breast and pelvic exam felt rushed and lacked the level of communication and respect required for such sensitive procedures, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and somewhat violated. I experienced complications after my IUD and ongoing symptoms that were concerning. When I contacted the office, I was told my doctor was on vacation, but at my very next visit she confirmed she had not been on vacation. A plan was discussed to address my symptoms, but it was never followed through. I underwent five ultrasounds, and after each one I was told there would be next steps, yet nothing ever happened.
