There was something funky going on with the rear breaks on my 2006 Tundra and I decided to try JY Automotive. Went in yesterday, was given an appointment today, and the job was completed an hour or so ago. Pricing was hundreds of dollars less than a quote I got for the mechanic I have been using for 19 years. My opinion is that the team at JY Automotive are knowledgeable, the pricing is very fair, and the customer service was excellent. I now have a new mechanic.
I'm trying to find an honest mechanic w honest prices. I walked in w 3 problems. 1) I needed the spark plugs replaced 2)I had a belt installed w another mechanic and it was making a squeeling sound 3) replace the window motor. I was charged over a half a grand for this service and my window failed to work 24hrs later. For example I was charged 75$ for a diagnostic check(autozone does for free) when any good mechanic will only charge for a diagnostic check when they find no problem w the car and they have to get paid for ther... read more
