There was something funky going on with the rear breaks on my 2006 Tundra and I decided to try JY Automotive. Went in yesterday, was given an appointment today, and the job was completed an hour or so ago. Pricing was hundreds of dollars less than a quote I got for the mechanic I have been using for 19 years. My opinion is that the team at JY Automotive are knowledgeable, the pricing is very fair, and the customer service was excellent. I now have a new mechanic.
I'm trying to find an honest mechanic w honest prices. I walked in w 3 problems. 1) I needed the spark plugs replaced 2)I had a belt installed w another mechanic and it was making a squeeling sound 3) replace the window motor. I was charged over a half a grand for this service and my window failed to work 24hrs later. Was in an emergency situation where I had errors with my car and took the diagnostic report in to them to check my car out and fix it. Said they would be able to get it done for me with their estimate, which in my situation being 900+ miles away from home and last town with civilization to fix my car to reach my destination I gave them my keys and said I’ll be back in a few days.
