Update: JW Build’s below response to my review is misleading and full of excuses (not surprising). The facts are simple: multiple basement windows in our newer home have leaked repeatedly, causing interior water damage — and JW Build has done nothing to fix it. These leaks are the direct result of poor workmanship and improper waterproofing, not a “window product defect” as they claim. We live in a home built by JW Build, and several basement windows have leaked repeatedly, causing water damage inside our home. For a newer home, this level of construction quality is unacceptable. It’s important to note that JW Build is primarily a remodeler, not a full-scale home builder, and it shows in the workmanship. We bought a JW Build reverse 1.5 Prescott plan and love the design, quality and communication Joe provides. He went above and beyond to help out when anything came up that needed addressed. Highly recommend JW Build for your next home.
