Re EDIT: 6/20/25 My 2nd edit had to do with failure rates of these particular bags. Peter, the owner, was nice enough to test some bags that he suggested I send him for testing to make sure my bags were not the problem, they weren't, I was. Turns out, I left out the plastic insert filters which made my vacuum system work less than efficiently, as there was too much air to evacuate in the chamber for the amount of time I allotted to evacuate that chamber. EDIT: 5/25. My 1st order of 5 mil bags was great, but my 2nd has been a dismal failure!!! The 2nd order seemed a little thinner when I compared them side by side, but the failure rate has been literally almost 50%!! Just seal 5 bags of large candy bars. 2 days later, ALL HAD FAILED!!! Went back into my freezers and found about 35% of the meats I'd frozen needed to be re-bagged! Needless to say I will not be ordering again! I do not generally leave reviews, but I bought a Vac100. Could not be happier. I owned a Avid Armor Ultra Series Model USV32. It broke, not the fault of the manufacturer, and I was looking for a new vacuum sealer. During my search, I called JVR and spoke with Peter. He answered all of my questions and equally important, I knew if I had an issue they woudl help and stand behind it! Really incredible product, features and accessories. Even better is the service from the team at JVR Industries. Just an example, I placed an order and inadvertently doubled up on the filler plates ordering 4 vs 2 (max that will work in the unit). I received a call from Andy of the JVR team within 10 minutes of submitting my order asking me if I really wanted 4 because you can only use 2 at a time.
