Nash (and I) love this clinic
I had a deeply frustrating experience at Juvo Veterinary Hospital in Pacifica. I brought my cat in for a cough, but after a superficial 5-minute exam, the vet offered zero answers and pushed an outrageously padded estimate. The biggest red flag was their "mandatory sedation policy." I was told X-rays CANNOT be performed without heavy sedation—regardless of how calm the cat is. They tried to charge 500$ just for a sedation package (IV catheter, monitoring, oxygen, multiple meds) on top of the imaging fees. Forcing unnecessary... read more

My dog, Fitzsimmons ,had a minor emergency and my vet could not see him for two days but recommended trying to get an appointment with Juvo. Juvo had an opening within an hour. I was a bit flustered and upon arriving at Juvo realized I had not put my dog’s collar on and forgot his leash. The receptionist took care of both of those things for me and I knew I was going to be well taken care of. Friendly staff, always accommodating in appointment scheduling, able to get my pets seen quickly. Will provide an estimate of treatment with charges beforehand, so not a surprise at checkout. Great experience at Juvo!
