Justin has been supportive through tough times. He's not my couples therapist, but he was more insightful about my current relationship than my couples therapist. He taught me some basic ways of using mindfulness to help me figure myself out. I still don't meditate often, and never meditated before I met Justin. My husband and I tried another therapist, and it didn't work out. But we saw this therapist, Justin McGahan, for couples counseling for about 10 months, and we worked very well together. My husband has a terribly busy traveling/working schedule. He often had to miss, but we would have a couple of weeks of sequenced sessions. I saw Justin for 15 months. He could really relate to me man to man and helped me get more from my relationships. I understand myself better and I'm happier. I highly recommend him regularly as the best therapist in Oakland (he's one therapist of two that I've seen, but I bet he is up there).
