Please be aware of the following: 1. My mother had what I observed to be a TIA at approximately 12:50 p.m. on 09-15-2024. I transported her to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, where we both reside. 2. Upon receiving the results of a CT with contrast, Dr. Karas made known to us that Mom has a great deal of plaque in the Circle of Willis. WHILE MY DAD WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND HE ROUNDED AND ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES AND NURSE SENT MESSAGE FOR HIM TO CALL AS I HAD QUESTIONS, HE FELT IT WAS OK TO NOT CALL ME AND YET STILL DISCHARGED MY FATHER. LOSING ALOT OF RESPECT FOR HEALTHCARE AND THAT DOCTORS CAN'T TALK TO THE FAMILY OR EVERYTHING WANTS TO BE PUT THAT IT IS ALL COVID
I am posting this review not as a patient, but as a witness to his actions and statements and my personal opinions of him: Dr. Chandler is rude and arrogant. He tells a patient suffering from PTSD to "just get over it". If other physicians specializing in a field that he does not and he tries stopping a medication he thinks MAY be causing problems and that other doctor AND ONE IN HIS OWN SPECIALITY disagree with him, he gets so hung up on being right, he will ignore the other issues and endanger the patient's well-being!
