I had a successful Pulsed Field (PFA) ablation by him at Grant with no complications, which was well supported by a great anesthesiologist, nurse and EP team. He works well with a nurse who staffs his office, and two Advance Nurse Practitioners who prescribe most of the medications, and do health histories before procedures. Health professionals recommended him to me. He is brief, clear and to the point when answering questions. I have had several appointments with him.
Dr. Weiner regarded me as one might regard a trespasser. He used the same cartoon diagram presentation of my mis-diagnosed AFIB as did his two CNPs on two required pre-appointments, all of whom offered conflicting analyses and advice. misdiagnosed afib after 30+ days on heart monitor; was late with appointment after EPS cath procedure; declined to renew prescriptions...told me my primary should do it; left appointment with 15 minutes to go; wouldn't answer further questions. Also, on previous visit to renew all the monitored ekgs, he dropped the huge bundle of charts on the floor, then was unable or unwilling to find the one where I had a major incident. I dumped him after the second set of incidents noted above.
