I absolutely loved what Jamie did with my hair! She was very good about asking what I wanted and making it look great. Great place to get your hair cut!
I think it's pretty disgusting that this establishment blamed me for the issues with my hair. Yes, years of box dye is hard to get out, 100%. But in the end the problem was that Emmaly didn't choose the correct shade of pink for my hair to have an even color and tone. The correct intensity and shade of pink were chosen on the second day, without much difficulty, and my hair came out looking great. So someone tell me why it wasn't chosen in the first place? My sister paid over $600 to have her hair stripped and colored, over several days. The result made her look like she'd done a DIY at home. It was so embarrassing for her. She contacted the owner for a fix-it job. (Emmaly always said, if you don't like it, come in and we will fix it for free.) The owners agreed it didn't look good. Had an amazing experience at JYS! The atmosphere was super chill and welcoming, and Emmaly was absolutely incredible! I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted, and I showed her 15 different photos of things I liked, and she managed to blend them all into the perfect hair color. It was like she knew what I wanted better than I did! And the cut she did was exactly what my hair needed. She was so knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing to me as we went.
