Massive Shout Out To George at Just Trans!!!! I was disappointed that they closed early on Friday, so George offered to come to me in Brunswick to check out my car, on Sunday. After 10mins, he diagnosed what he believed the issue was and quoted me the price to fix. Dropped my car off on Tuesday to hopefully be repaired. George called and said it was exactly what he thought it was, he will get it fixed and I can pick up Wednesday, for the same price he quoted me. He was honest and upfront, letting me know it was a simple fix and he had it sorted within a couple of hours. Would not recommend, Job was done for a very reasonable price I will admit. However 2000 kms in the band for 2/4 snapped which they repaired under warranty. 4000 KMS after repair the car lost second gear again, car was rarely driven so outside of the 2 year warranty, took the car elsewhere and found that due to machining the drum instead of replacement they had tried to shim out the band which eventually caused the band to wear out and fail.
