Don't encourage puppy mills Just Puppies gets their puppies from Missouri, where they they have the majority of the puppymills in the country. These dogs are forced to live their entire lives in crowded and filthy conditions. They are given insufficient exercise and food. If Just Puppies doesn't get their dogs from puppy mills, then they could just get dogs near the stores. Instead, the owner personally drives to Missouri. If you love dogs, please help put them out of business.
Puppy mill pups need love too Even though these pups are from puppy mills (obviously) they still need loving homes. They atleast deserve that since they were kept in horrible conditions since they were born. Its horrible the way they treat these dogs and they need to be shut down. These puppies just need to be given a chance. So if you buy a puppy from a pet store, take it to a vet and do the best you can for it. All the pet store is going to do is kill it if you give it back.
Better than people think Just Puppies may have some bad media but the stuff people say is not true. I have 3 puppies from there and none have had health issues. One had kennel cough but even after taking it to my separate vet to be checked they said it was just a puppy cold and Just Puppies paid for the care of it. I was able to contact the breeders of all of them and check out one of their places which was really nice. They also provided me with background info on the parents. PUPPY MILL STORE IS JUST PUPPIES IN LAUREL In 2002 through distress of the loss of my toy poodle, I purchased a chocolate labrador retriever from this store. Kennel cough, Rocky Mount spotted fever, 2 knee surgeries and soon to be hip replaced. I think this store sells puppy mill dogs. When I complained about my dog's health, they said "bring her back, we will destroy her" and give you a discount on another dog. ARE YOU KIDDING ME
I give them a 5/10! they have PUPPYMILL dogs! I got my Cairn terrier form them about 2 years ago he is a great dog but he is cage crazy sort of when someone rings our doorbell or when hes in his cage jumps in circles and screams not barks but screams! I have been there 5 times since I got my puppy there adn there have been poop on the cage floors and the puppies walking in it! Last time I was there they had 2 husky males pups in the cage together a black/white and a cream/white the black/white puppy was healthy and lively bu... read more
Rude and Wrong.... Okay, well the Just Puppies I went to is obviously a puppy mill, if not then something is wrong with the breeder AND the owner. The dogs are (just like another reviewer said) walking in their poop, and some of them are just lying there, lethargic and like they don't care. I went up to the person working there and asked where she got the puppies, and I quote, she said: "Well, where do puppies come from? Oh, yeah, a breeder, DUH!" I was shocked.
