Under 24 hours before appointment, received a message that "new policy for all patients is there will be a 25 dollar charge for not calling and confirming the appointment by 4pm the day before the appointment." Is this even legal to charge for not confirming--not for not showing up--simply not confirming? This policy was not in place when I made the appointment for my kids and I, by luck, happened to get the message in time, under an hour and a half before their new deadline or they would have shamelessly charged me 50 dolla... read more
