I hadn't been to Just Fish since it first opened years ago and was excited to return for a friend's Gospel House event. You can imagine how surprised I was to arrive and be told by my friend the event was canceled by the owner due to the weather forecast of rain earlier in the day. It was 4pm. The rain stopped at 8am. My first time here this past weekend with my cousin The food was amazing. I had the catfish with the shrimp, cornbread and potato salad. My cousin has shrimp, fish and chicken and three sides. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back and the staff was great.

I ordered on grubhub. The food was packaged very well and the fish was very nice. Not salty, not greasy. I moved to South Jersey and miss a good fish fry so this hit the spot. The sides I received: cornbread, Mac, and greens were good too. However my order was supposed to come with yams and 5 pieces of fish. I checked the grubhub menu to make sure. I received 4 pieces of fish and cornbread instead of yams. Running an independent business is quite hard so still 5 stars but there should be 5 pieces of fish as advertised.

Their softshell crab is slamming, 10 times better than the seafood boil places that sell it near here because it actually tastes properly seasoning. I just HATE that I cannot order that specific menu item on Doordash. They only have 1 meal that includes it and it comes with fried lobster tail, shrimp and the softshell crab. The first time it came with one softshell crab and yesterday I lucked out and got two. I'm not that crazy about the shrimp and lobster tail and that's $40/a plate. I had a great time at this place. I happened to go on the night where they had a comedy show out on the back patio, it made the evening much more enjoyable. The comics were good and there was a lot of crowd participation.
