Dr. Shibayama is everything you could hope for in a surgeon. I've never experienced this level of sincere care from such a talented doctor. His words and actions truly match his faith — he prayed with me right before surgery, which moved me to tears. He even called to follow up himself the next day, not a staff member, him personally. Highly recommend if you want a surgeon who is both skilled and genuinely cares about you as a person.

Dr. Shibyama did my back surgery on June 10th. I was having excruciating lower back pain that was shooting down my right leg and at times was getting to a pain level of 8. Less than a week after my surgery, I was in almost no pain. After a week and a half every bit of that pain was gone! He also did two neck surgeries on me in 2017 and 2018 that I no longer have pain in my neck anymore. He is an excellent surgeon and a personable doctor with great bedside manner. Dr Shibayama performed surgery on my dad’s back. I only went to one follow-up appointment due to living out of state, but I was throughly impressed with how great he was. He had plenty of patience and listened to my dad (who has some dementia) try to explain his pains. We couldn’t ask for a better person to provide care to our dad. Thank You!! His prayers at the end was the icing on the cake for an outstanding experience!
