I would give a negative rating if I could. My mom and sister were left without any way to get home after my sister had a bad fall at work. This was around 2:30 - 3 AM, when there were no buses running. We asked the ER doctor if there was any way to get a cab voucher or assistance with transportation home, and we were told there wasn’t. Burned my hand, nothing major but the 811 operator suggested I go to emerg. Waited 6h (4h in main waiting, 2h in the secondary) got patched up, and was given a bunch of bandages to take home. Yeah, waiting sucked. But I feel like there was bigger issues at hand. Once I actually saw someone the level of care and professionalism was excellent.

Worst ER I've been to with chronic health issues, even worse than General (and General is baaaad). Both times I was taken to Juravinski via ambulance, I was treated very poorly. I was recently taken in via ambulance because I fainted and was clearly experiencing a cardiac event and turning blue. EMS told me I was 'next in line' (according to ER reception), but 8 other people were called ahead of me over the course of 2-3 hours. The only nurse kept leaving.
