David at registration treated us with disrespect. It was a nearly an empty waiting room with no line up but rolled his eyes when we said my father with dementia AND urinary retention had to use the bathroom first. The 30 seconds we met with him he was rude, sarcastic and demeaning. I was watching him laughing it up with his coworkers making fun of other patients. Close your windows if you don't want the whole waiting room to hear. The triage were wonderful on the other hand, as well as most of the nurses working in the ER. H... read more

I do not recommend this emergency room. The level of patient care is simply not acceptable. I have never experienced an emergency department where staff failed to provide updates on test results, procedures, or even check in to ask how a patient is feeling or whether their pain level has changed. Compassion, communication, and empathy are essential parts of healthcare, especially in an emergency setting. Unfortunately, those qualities were noticeably lacking during my visit. I would give a negative rating if I could. My mom and sister were left without any way to get home after my sister had a bad fall at work. This was around 2:30 - 3 AM, when there were no buses running. We asked the ER doctor if there was any way to get a cab voucher or assistance with transportation home, and we were told there wasn’t. Then the overnight nurse ( looked spanish) walked past us and asked another patient if they had a way home and offered them a cab voucher. Burned my hand, nothing major but the 811 operator suggested I go to emerg. Waited 6h (4h in main waiting, 2h in the secondary) got patched up, and was given a bunch of bandages to take home. Yeah, waiting sucked. But I feel like there was bigger issues at hand. Once I actually saw someone the level of care and professionalism was excellent.
