I was hesitant to leave a bad review bc I thought mine was an isolated case, but after reading Claudette B.'s review in another major review site I see it isn't. This place is ALL ABOUT PROFIT and not helping animals with healing and sparing them suffering. They favor the most expensive surgeries regardless of collateral damages to the animal even when science disagrees with the surgical procedures they "sell". I am going to write these words with sadness, this happens to my friend who has experienced the arrogance of Dr. Gerard. My friend has cat Rockey, whom Dr. Gerard treated for diabetes was tested on Friday 25 septemeber2020 for a standard Glucose Curve. Rockey was then boarded at Jupiter Animal Hospital for that weekend. Dr Gerard from Jupiter Animal Hospital really disappointed my family. We boarded our cat Rocky there for the weekend of September 25 - September 28 2020. Rocky is a diabetic cat. Dr Gerard knew this. He also performed a Glucose Curve on Rocky on Friday September 25, 2020. Over the weekend, Rocky became very ill, while under the care of Jupiter Animal Hospital. It is with a heavy heart that I am forced to write this review to prevent Dr Gerard from abusing his position as a vet. I gave him fair opportunity to do the right thing, but his arrogance failed him. My cat Rocky, whom Dr Gerard treated for diabetes was tested on Friday 25 September 2020 for a standard Glucose Curve.
