Excellent yakitori. If you can sit, at the counter— you might as well be in Japan. Team were excellent. Brave the unusual skewers because they know what they are doing
Went to Junsei for lunch. Total �250 spent. Worth the visit. WORTH IT: Crab croquettes - a MUST try. Delicious taste. Chicken skin - great for a crunchy texture to add to your dish Chicken wings - THE BEST. Order at least 2-3 of these skewers per person. This is what these grills are known for. Thighs - not a big fan, but healthy and had a nice glaze NOT REALLY WORTH IT: Wagyu A5: Tasteless, �80 - would not recommend for the price. Still wouldn't take it at 25. I only ate 20% of the dish. Really enjoyed our dinner at Junsei. The yakitori was great, especially the tsukune, but the short rib donabe was definitely the highlight (the rice was so flavourful and the beef was incredibly tender)!! Loved the atmosphere very much too :) The warm, izakaya-style interior paired with the vinyl listening bar and funky jazz made the whole experience feel really special. Would definitely come back, especially for the donabe!
Pricy (�8 a skewer) and not worth it
Very delicious! I recommend everyone to eat it. It is the best yakitori in London.
