What a fabulously scenic spot! Jupiter point Park was not too busy when we came before all the snow fell. Beautiful areas with picnic tables and outdoor grills although I’m not sure what times a year you’re actually allowed to spark them up and cook your food due to the fire dangers. A lot of people on the banks fishing with their families. Lots of pretty mallard ducks floating around honking their beaks adorably. Parking is easy - never full, but you will want to ensure you have an adventure pass or annual pass. The trails here are easy and absolutely scenic surrounding the lake, you can see snow summit. I highly recommend showing up in time to entire a sunset view. There are plenty of tables to picnic at by the lake, but it's best to bring a tarp and blanket to enjoy being right of the water with the best view in Big Bear lake.
