Love that they share the basketball court for pickleball players...fun group of people, all levels!
Junior Seau Beach Community Center located in Oceanside, California helped a lot of kid to practice sports which helped them to say no yo drugs. It is very frequented from the kids in the area and the involvement of the families helped the center to attract more kids. Wish there were more center like this all around USA. The center is to the forefront of the picture and the public parking across the street. The street in the picture is called “ The Strand N”
Watched grandkid play basketball, hilarious! Refs were great, gave the kids some slack about traveling, etc, but also called out the repeat offenders, haha! Gym has portable bleachers, bathrooms are fairly clean, sometimes low on soap. The whole area around the community center and the pier and the beach are great for walking, people watching, relaxing on the beach, playing in the water, buying all kinds of tasty snacks and drinks.
Indoor pickleball is not crowded at all. We need more people to play. Come down for some competitive and friendly games. Just smash it!
