Thank you for the single loaf of gluten-free bread I purchased for $17.59. It was at best, decent, but not nearly as good as the reviews said it was. No receipt and no ingredient list either. I was surprised until I found out that bakeries don't have to.
I have never met a business more opposed to giving customers their receipts than this one. On the rare occasion that you might get one, despite asking each time, she will smile at you and hand it to you, but when you get home you see she has ripped off the name and or the date making it ineligible for income tax. I don’t know how her customers with celiac disease do it because they have to keep the receipts for their income tax. Absolutely the best!!! Every time we visit family this is one of my first stops! Great gluten free baked goods. Cheese bagels are a must. Date squares, muffins, cookies and lemon loaf are just some of my favorites. It is so nice to have a local bakery that is 100% gluten free. The quality of the product and great service is exceptional. Highly suggest calling and placing an order for your favorite things as popular items sells out quickly!
I’ve been shopping at Junior Baker for years, since around 2012, and they continue to be one of my favourite local allergen-free spots to this day. If it’s for a specialty order, or just getting some GF & yeast free mana buns, or a GF loaf of sourdough bread, Junior Baker has it all.
