Ordered the fish platter with baked potato. Fish was soggy and the potato tasted like it was cooked months ago and was terrible. On the positive side the staff were terrific and attentive.
Just had the worst steak of my life at this place. It smelt like burnt flesh at first scent. I waited 45 minutes for it in a 3/4 empty house on steak night. I ate most of it thinking it might be OK and because I was starved and didn't want to wait for another. The lovely waitress was half embarrassed and slashed bill. Many thx to her.
A few of us arrived at jungle jims this weekend around 6, we sat and had our order taken around 6:10 that was fine and dandy. It was a little busy but we all had a very simple meal ordered. By 7 we had ordered a second lot of drink with no food to be seen still which we thought was odd as we watched multiple tables that came after us eat and leave. What a fun place to visit. It's got this tikki bar/ summer patio feel. The servers are super nice and have a wicked memery. Our server (Keisha if recall correctly) was so good she didn't need no pad to write our order down and got it perfect! Also my cup never went empty either. Dropped $200 on lunch and can't wait to go back. My mother and I ate like kings and I drank like pirate. If your in Clarenville n hungry you have to give em a visit!
