My experience was very pleasant one. Was greeted professionally, ambiance and atmosphere were above average. The background music playing had been primarily saxophonists, providing a mellow, calming mood to relax and not have to worry about someone with scissors to whom you don't know (with over 20 years experience, BTW) is about to be used on you. Down to Earth, and one of very few places where you get more for what you pay for. American owned proudly and worth every penny.
Dude at 1:30 on 8 December was making wild comments. Apparently any guy who get their hair cut here is gay. His words not mine. The owner is more than welcome to message me. All service members beware. Don't go here. Comment is not anonymous. Unlike this dude who couldn't say who he was when we asked.
He only charges $8 and usually I'll pay $20 so I gave him the whole $20. He offered cookies and has a awesome welcoming demeanor. He also offers other services such as hot oil treatments and blowouts for women and straight razor for men and facials as well. Very reasonable prices. Please tip him. Ask him about his dog Mercedes. Adorable.
