We enjoyed our stay at the Juneau Hotel. We loved having a kitchen and access to a washer and dryer. One suggestion that would have GREATLY improved our stay is some blackout curtains or better quality blinds. The bedroom was so bright it was as if a spotlight is shining into the room. The location is great if you're mobile and willing to walk a bit. We really enjoyed the 15 minute walk into downtown everyday.
Perfect location, near downtown and the sea walk. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Free coffee and sizable suites, very reasonable for the rate. Highly recommend
Incredible hospitality, huge suites, and the perfect base for a Juneau trip! If you're looking for an incredibly comfortable and spacious place to stay in Juneau, this is absolutely it. We stayed here during a salmon and halibut fishing trip, and having a massive, spotless room with so much space to relax after long days on the water was a game-changer. Extremely friendly folks working here. The rooms are all suites so end up being very large. As southerners we were shocked to see that there was no AC until we remembered we were in Alaska and just needed to open the windows and turn on a fan if needed. Super convenient to downtown without having to be stuck in the middle of everyone. The walk into downtown is mostly along a boardwalk and is very short and easy. Nice hotel for end of cruise-has washing machines in some rooms. Shuttle to airport and to cruise line.
