“In my experience, Juneau Glass has been operating without a valid business license and appears to be misclassifying employees as subcontractors to avoid compliance with workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance requirements. They have not provided 1099s or W-2s, which suggests an attempt to avoid tax obligations. I have reported these issues to the AKWORKCOMP SIU for non-compliance, the AKUI Field-Tax Division, and the IRS for fraudulent misclassification of employees.
