My partner and I stayed here with my Grandmother when she visited us from the US, and it was an amazing way to see the rainforest! Very cute house, with a huge yard and large windows, in the middle of a rainforest. We saw a lot of flying foxes and stone-curlews, as well as a ton of other birds (all while eating right on the front porch)! The owners are very welcoming, and their dog, Ollie is adorable. I definitely recommend this place as highly as I can.

It’s beautiful and very quiet with a lot of birds (and sometimes wallabies!) hanging around. The temperature here in Kuranda is always nice: not hot, not cold, not too humid – just perfect. We stayed here for two weeks before leaving to travel Aust. It's an amazing little gem tucked away in the rainforest. A great place to unwind and relax, only 5 min drive into kuranda or to the Barron falls. And a lovey river walk on your doorstep which takes you into town. The wildlife is also abundant with brush turkeys, Wompoo pidgions, a large variety of other birds and the friendly family chickens. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing retreat with plenty of space. Rell and Sam
